Never Have I Ever || Blogger Edition

I saw this fun tag over at Whispering Stories page. This was created by My Rollercoaster Journey.

Never Have I Ever || Blogger Edition:

1. Published a post without revising it

Honestly, I want to say no…but I think I may have back in my very beginner days of blogging.

2. Published a post without pictures

Yupp! Absolutely. This post will most likely not have any pictures.

3. Stayed up all night writing a post

Nope. Not that I can recall.

4. Copy pasted a post entirely

No!

5. Went more than a week without posting

Yes. Never intentionally. But an unintentional haitus has happened to me…more than once.

6. Blogged on a topic just because it was trending

I believe so? I can’t think of any specific topics off the top of my head, but I’m sure I have.

7. Commented on another person’s blog just to promote myself

Nope.

8. Published a post with no links inside

Absolutely. Especially in my early days when I didn’t know what the heck I was doing.

9. Pushed yourself to blog when you didn’t feel like it

Yes. I try to post at least once a week, but at times even that feels tough. I’ll have these moments where I’ll say maybe I’ll just skip this week, but I push myself to put up a post because I know if I don’t then I’ll just keep skipping and then one week will turn into another week of not posting and so on. But I think we have all had those moments, right? I’m always SO IMPRESSED with people who can manage three, four, five posts a week! I honestly don’t know how they do it.

10. I’m out of ideas but there have to be 10 questions, so adding a random number to a list just so the list can be 5 items or 10 items

Haha! This is just funny. But yes. I don’t know why, but whenever I make list I’ll always end them on multiples of five. Why is it like that?

And that’s it for the questions. This was a really fun tag to participate in. I hope you enjoyed!

WWW Wednesdays…on Thursday?!?!?!

I wanted to participate in WWW Wednesdays, at Taking on a World of Words, but I forgot to upload it on Wednesday(SORRY. I really just lost track of time). So here we are uploading it on Thursday! YAY!!! If you don’t know how it works, you simply answer the three W questions below!

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next, and/or what are you eagerly awaiting?

What am I currently reading?

What did I recently finish?

Hellion by Rhys Ford. This was a random book I found when I was searching through Libby late at night. It was a fine read. I didn’t love it, but also didn’t hate it. I do think I may check out more by this author at some point, but I’m not in any rush.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I honestly don’t know. I’m thinking possibly a manga??? We shall see!

What about you guys? What are you currently reading? What have you recently finished? And what do you plan on reading next?

3 Days, 3 Quotes- Day 1

3days3quoteschallenge

I wasn’t tagged by anyone specifically, although I saw this on My Tiny Obsessions page, and I thought it would be fun to do! Especially since I’ve been gone for over a month, I thought this would be fun as a getting-back-into-blogging post! This is the 3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge. I think this may have been around for a bit, but this is my first time seeing it.

THE RULES:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day)
  3. Nominate three new bloggers each day! (If you’re reading this, and want to do it, go right ahead! I tag you!)

My first quote is from one of my favorite books: Clockwork Princess!

“Life is a book and there are a thousand pages I have not yet read.”

TAG- The Reader Problems

1. You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?
I pretty much just grab whatever I’m in the mood for! That’s really how I decided what I’m going to read next. Or if I plan on reading something with my friend.
2. You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or commit?
It depends on what “not loving it” means. Does it mean I’m absolutely hating it? Or does it mean it’s okay, but I’m really not invested and I just want to get this over with? If it means that I’m absolutely hating it, then I will just quit, but if I’m liking it, but just want it to be over with, I will push myself to finish it, by skimming certain parts.
3. The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?
Oh definitely try to catch up. I mean who wouldn’t?
4. The covers of a series you love do. not. match. How do you cope?
A cover change doesn’t really bother me much. It really doesn’t frustrate me if the covers are different as long as I have all the books then I’m good.
5. Everyone and their mother love a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
Goodreads!!! Goodreads is your best friend when trying to find people who share the same feelings with you on a book. You’re guarenteed to fins someone who disliked the book as well.
6. You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?
I don’t cry when reading books so this has never been a problem for me. But if it was the case, then I would put the book away. I wouldn’t want people to see me like that.
7. A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?
I will re-read, or mainly skim, through the prior novel. Or I will look up reviews on YouTube, or spoilers on book blogs. They’re many places to go to get recaps.
8. You do not want anyone. ANYONE. Borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?
Simply say, I’m sorry but I don’t lend my books out. It’s that easy.
9. Reading ADD. You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?
I really don’t like having to push myself to finish a book so what I do is either pick up a book that I know I will absolutely love(which means a re-read), or just not read. I will either go watch a movie or some TV until I can’t get over it. Sometimes taking a break from reading is needed!
10. There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?
It depends on how bad I want them. Usually I can put them in order and I will get the one that I absolutely want first. And I only buy maybe two or three at once.
11. After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long they sit on your shelf before you get to them?
I usually don’t read them right away, which is why I only buy two or three at once. They will usually sit on my shelf for a few months or so. I know, a shame!
