October (hopeful) TBR

I can’t believe it’s already October! I want to share my hopeful TBR. And I say hopeful because I’m always SO BAD at sticking to TBRs. However, they’re are some books that I do want to get to this month. We’ll see how this goes. Either I’ll read what I chose, or I’ll completey ignore it and choose some random books.

The books I would like to get to this month are(you can click the title if you want to know more about the books):

The House Across the Lake by Riley Sager.

I have this on hold at my library and it’s a pretty long wait, so I think the earliest I could get this would be the end of the month.

Mooncakes by Wendy Zu and Suzanne Walker.

A story of love and demons, family and witchcraft.

This just looks like a story I would really enjoy!

There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins.

This has been on my TBR for some time now. I think this is also a movie, so it’d be a fun time to read this and then watch the movie!

Dead Silence by S. A. Barnes.

A GHOST SHIP.
A SALVAGE CREW.
UNSPEAKABLE HORRORS.

This is suppose to be a sci-fi horror, which would be a perfect choice for October!

Sisyphus: The Myth Ending!

So I just really needed to talk about my thoughts on the ending of this show. I have a lot of things going on in my mind and I just wanted to share them.

Is Seo Hae real or is Tae Sul hallucinating her?

I just don’t know…she could be real or not.

My thoughts…

I think he remembers her because he did put the code in for the uploader, and I believe the uploader was still made, but not October 31st like it was always made before. It was delayed, which changed the past since the bombs didn’t go off that day. So I think everything that happened in this time became the new past and that’s why Tae Sul remembers Seo Hae.

Now was she there? I just don’t know. She could be a hallucination. Instead of him seeing his brother, he sees her. Or she could actually be there. There could be a new problem and she found another journal and found him again.

Also with Tae Sul killing himself at the end…to me it made sense. He said he knew this was going to happen but kept putting it off because he wanted to be with Seo Hae for as long as possible. To me that makes sense. Obviously he would do everything in his power to change it this time, so putting off killing himself for the last moment makes sense.

He also told Seo Hae to find him no matter what it takes. No matter when, to find him. So he knew he would see her again.

As for Sigma, I feel like Won Ju(Sigma) will still be evil, but he has changed in this new time. He became the way he was because no one cared for him and no one showed him kindness. However, in the final episode, because of Seo Hae father(who showed him kindness and that he does care) he did change. Now he still hates Tae Sul, as we saw from the ending, but I do think he has changed(probably not much though). I also think Eddie Kim will become the “new Sigma“.

Obviously this is all up to interpretation. Normally I’m not a fan of open endings, but with this particular drama I’ve seen a lot of different theories online and I’ve had the best time reading them. They’re many different possibilities and I really enjoyed seeing what people came up with! I just wanted to share my thoughts because I keep thinking about it and just needed to talk about it.

As I said earlier, these are just my thoughts on the ending of Sisyphus: The Myth. I think I may do a whole review of the drama as well!

Back into Reading

Hey there!

It has been awhile since I’ve posted anything on here. I’m sorry about that. I’ve kind of been in a weird mood these last few months, and haven’t felt like reading anything. This surely hasn’t been the first time this has happened, and it won’t be the last. However, I’ve been feeling like getting out of this mood, and I need some recommendations to help me. So let me know what you have been reading and loving lately!

So what have I been doing recently? Well at the end of August I started watching Battlestar Galactica(2003 version), and in September I finished it. I was hesitant to start this show because I honestly didn’t think I would like it. I’m so glad to say that I was completely wrong. I absolutely LOVED this show. It was everything you could want in a television show and more! I’m thinking about doing a Why I Love: Battelstar Galactica post so I can share all my love for it there.

My Reading Mood

So lately I’ve been in the “I-don’t-know-what-is-wrong-with-me-but-I-can’t-get-into-any-book-that-I-pick-up-mood.” It sucks. Every book that I’ve started, I just can’t seem to get into to. It’s not that they’re bad books, it’s just that I’m not in the mood, so I don’t give it my full attention.Have you been in this mood before? What do you do? What books brought you out of it? What books would you recommend for me to read?
