I wasn’t tagged by anyone specifically, although I saw this on My Tiny Obsessions page, and I thought it would be fun to do! Especially since I’ve been gone for over four months, I thought this would be fun as a getting-back-into-blogging post! This is the 3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge.

Book Review || Saga Volume 5

Marko as aligned himself with Prince IV, as both of them try to find there families. It’s a very uneasy alliance as they both seem to hate each other. However, when you have a common goal you try and work together. I really enjoyed there arc together. Mainly because we got to see Marko, and Ghus(whom I adore). We got to see Marko high as all hell, and get a view into his past.

Alana is with Klara, as they’re being kept by Dengo who also has the kidnapped Princeling and Hazel. He has called the Revolution to where they were to make a deal with them. Although nothing goes as planned and all hell breaks loose!

We also follow Gwendolyn, Sophie, Lying Cat, The Brand, searching for a cure to save The Will! Trust me when I say, shit gets really weird in this storyline!

Ohhhhh and I just have one thing to say….Dragon jizz….Dragon freakin jizz. That is all.

As always this story has beautiful artwork, and amazing writing. The humor is on point, and the characters are wonderful! Throughout the whole story your so invested and just needing to know what happens next. As always, we are left on a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait to read the next volume!

Saga by Brian K Vaughan– This was recommended to me by a bunch of people on Booktube! I’m so glad that I picked this series up!

Cinder by Marissa Meyer– This was recommended to me by one of my best friends. I’ve currently read the first two books in the series.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer– This was recommended to me by one of my best friends in high school when I was 15 or 16 years old.

Dark Lover( Black Dagger Brotherhood) by J R Ward– This was recommended to me by a couple of people on GoodReads, and I was glad that I pick these up. I read the first 3 in the series first and I still have many more to go.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater– This is one of the books that was recommeded to me that I DIDN’T like. I didn’t finish this book, but I still own it because I LOVE the cover.

 

October TBR

So I’m getting back into reading and I thought I would make a post about the books I want to read is month. 

I really want to reread Twilight by Stephenie Meyer this month! It has been awhile since I’ve reread this book, and Lately I’ve been in the mood for it.

I want to get to Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children this month since the movie is coming, or already is out. It seems like it would be an interesting read(and I’ve had this book on my shelf for some time now!)

At the end of this month, I’m hoping to participate in Deweys 24 hour readathon. I’m going to be getting some graphic novels from my library for that, but as of right now, I’m not sure which ones. However, I do want to read Saga Vol. 6!

TBR || Graphic Novels

So I went to the library today and picked up a bunch of graphic novels that I’ve been hearing great things about and wanted to check out!

I’ve been hearing great things about this graphic novels series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez and so I’ve been very interested in this! It seems like it will be a creepy read….I’m hoping!

Locke & Key tells of Keyhouse, an unlikely New England mansion, with fantastic doors that transform all who dare to walk through them. Home to a hate-filled and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all…

 

As most people are, I’m a fan of the Saga series! I just started reading these last year, and I finally got Saga Volume 5! I really wanted to reread Volume 4 so I could do a quick recap, but my library didn’t have it in. Either way, I’m so excited to get to this one!

Multiple storylines collide in this cosmos-spanning new volume. While Gwendolyn and Lying Cat risk everything to find a cure for The Will, Marko makes an uneasy alliance with Prince Robot IV to find their missing children, who are trapped on a strange world with terrifying new enemies. Collects Saga #25-30.

I’ve been really interested in the Rat Queens graphic novels since I saw some booktubers haul them. I was glad to see my library had 3 volumes in!
