The Vampire Diaries: Series Finale || Favorite Moments

Damon and Stefan’s Goodbye tvd_8-16

Damon and Stefan have always been my favorite non-romantic relationship on the show! And I always loved seeing moments together like this! This scene was so emotional and heartbreaking, especially when they were trying to explain to one another why it needed to be them to sacrifice themselves.

Bonnie and Bennett Witches Save Mystic Falls

Bonnie freakin 8x16_bonnie2Bennett has always been one of the best and the most SELFLESS characters on the show. She was always willing to sacrifice herself and her happiness time and time again for the ones she loves. To see her be the one to save Mystic Falls doesn’t surprise me one bit. However the scene with her, Grams, and generations of Bennett witches was just badass, and I absolutely loved it! However I’m still pissed about them not bringing Enzo back, so they can both have there happy ending! Bonnie and Enzo are two characters who deserved that!

Stefan and Elena/Stefan and Lexi

This schqdefaultene! We NEEDED this! Stefan and Elena was where it all started and to see them FINALLY have a moment like this. We really needed it. Even though these two are not in love with each other anymore, they will always love one another. This scene was sweet, emotional, and just absolutely necessary. Plus the song Never Say Never played as they ended the goodbye! PERFECTION! And then we can’t forgot when he does leave, he walks out to see Lexi, finding peace with her! That scene was EPIC!

Damon and Elena

What we’ve been waiting for: the Delena reunion! It wasn’t this big, over the top reunion. They simply see each other, run into each other arms, kiss and hug. I know a lot of people wimagesere disappointed with this, but to be honest, I really quite enjoyed it. If you think about it, it was very bittersweet. I mean yes, they have each other back, but Damon just lost his brother and was saying goodbye to him, plus he’s now human. I mean come on, he has to be feeling so many different emotions at that moment. And Elena just woke up, and she lost someone really important to her. With all that going on, I think the reunion was done well and fit with the tone of the story in that moment. Of course I know quite a few people might disagree(that’s okay!).

Finding Peace

The ending, at least in my opinionthe-vampire-diaries-defan-8x16n, was perfect. I loved how we got to see what everyone was doing, or going to do in the future. How they had loved ones that died looking out for them, and eventually finding peace with them! Elena and Damon living a long and happy life, and when they do pass on: Elena finds peace with her parents, Aunt Jenna, and John, while Damon finds peace with Stefan, finally getting to see him again. I absolutely freakin loved that the final scene was of Stefan and Damon, and the final line was:

“Damon.”

“Hello Brother”

My name is Ally Prince and I’ve always been unlucky in love. When all of my best friends were falling for their soul mates in College, I was left behind. I was Ally, the pretty cousin of superstar quarterback, Romeo Prince. I was Ally, the best friend to the most amazing group of girls I’ve ever known—a title I loved, but one I became tired of ‘just’ being. And I was Ally, the one on which they could all rely.18759355

But to me, I was Ally, the girl with the heart no one had claimed… And I was, Ally, the girl, who underneath it all, was heart-breakingly lonely.

For the past few years I’ve thrown myself into my career as a museum curator. I’m the best of the best, the person every museum wants to hire, so when an opportunity came up to move to Seattle, I jumped at the chance. My cousin and my best friend lived in Seattle and I needed a change.

I wasn’t expecting to meet anyone in the Emerald City. I wasn’t expecting to work closely with the reclusive new sculptor my all-important gallery design was centered around. And I certainly wasn’t expecting to fall for him… heart-stopping, epic, life-changing love…
My real life fairytale come true.

But, like in every fairytale, there’s a villain, a dark and tortured soul… I just didn’t know that the villain and the hero in my story would end up being one and the same.

So this weekend I’ll be reading Sweet Hope by Tillie Cole. I’m so excited to be reading this story, and continuing on in this series. I became addicted to Tillie Cole books last summer and every since then, I’ve been making my way through her stories. This is now my 7th book by her, and I’m so excited to read about this characters story!

We first meet Ally is the first book in this series Sweet Home. Every since then, she has been a favorite of mine and I’ve been waiting to dive into her life! I’m not that far into this story yet, but I’m loving it so far!
