Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon || Wrap-Up

Another readathon over. As always, I had a lot of fun participating in this one!

This time, it was a very laid back readathon for me.

I started with everyone’s an aliebn when ur an aliebn too by Jomny Sun. It was a fun and definitely thought provoking read.

I then picked up The Gentleman’s Guide to Getting Lucky by Mackenzi Lee. This is a novella set inbetween books one and two of the Montague Siblings series. I had the absolute best time reading this story! I found myself laughing so much!

Lastly, I started Final Girls by Riley Sager. I got about 30 pages into this one before I called it a night. I’m definitely intrigued by this story so far, but I think I’m going to wait to continue until I can get the audiobook for this. I think the audiobook may be the way to go for this! (Currently on hold at the library)

And that’s it! Did you participate in this readathon? What did you read?

I don’t have a set TBR! I have some options, and when the readathon starts I’ll figure out what I’ll read!

Some options are:

  • Everyone’s a Aliebn When Ur a Aliebn Too
  • The Lost Hero
  • Final Girls
  • Heartstopper Vol 1(Reread)

Dewey’s Reverse Readathon Wrap Up

Dewey’s 24 Reverse Readathon is over and I feel very happy with myself. I was able to read two books and had a lot of fun participating in sprints, and seeing people’s updates online.

I started the readathon with Date Me, Bryson Keller by Kevin Van Whye. I thought this would be a fun and quick read for this readathon and I was right! I was really enjoying this one.

I decided to change it up and pick up an audiobook. I went with Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll because I also had a physical copy of this so I could follow along. I got about 40 pages into this and was just not feeling it so I put it down. I still wanted an audiobook so I jumped onto Libby and chose Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds. This was a good choice. It was quick, but also very engaging!

The next day I spent the rest of the readathon finishing Date Me, Bryson Keller.

Overall, I completed two books, a total of 642 pages in 24 hours. I’m happy with that! It was a fun and relaxing readathon and I’m excited for the next one!

Did you participate in the Reverse Readathon? If so, how did you do?

Reverse Readathon 2021

It’s Dewey’s Reverse Readthon this weekend, so I figured why the hell not join in? So a 24 hour readathon will be happening on Friday August 6th at 8pm EST to Saturday August 7th 8pm EST! Check out Dewey’s website for more information and to find out what time the readathon starts for you!

Honestly, I’m not sure what I want to read at the moment. I’m kind of in the thriller mood, but also a romance mood. I also have a couple library books on my kindle that I need to get to as well! So honestly, we’ll see what the mood is for the weekend! As of now some options include:

  • Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall
  • Date Me, Bryson Keller by Kevin Van Whye
  • Final Girls by Riley Sager
  • There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins
  • Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo

What do you guys plan to read?

Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon Wrap-Up

So Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon is over and I had a lot of fun participating!

During this readathon my goal was not to stay up for the entire 24 hours…I cant do that, but to just read more than I have been in a day. And I accomplished that. I was able to start and finish a book, and get about 70 pages into another, so I’m really happy with how it turned out!

I started and finished Yes No Maybe So and it was a good read. I ended up giving this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

I also got about 70 pages into Wicked Fox, which I’m quite enjoying! So it was a good reading day for me. On Goodreads(click to add me as a friend) it says that the kindle edition of Yes No Maybe So is 448 pages. So that plus the 70 pages of Wicked Fox means I was able to read 518 pages in a day. I’m very happy with that. Did you guys participate? How did you do?

October TBR

So I’m getting back into reading and I thought I would make a post about the books I want to read is month. img_5158

I really want to reread Twilight by Stephenie Meyer this month! It has been awhile since I’ve reread this book, and Lately I’ve been in the mood for it.

I want to get to Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children this month since the movie is coming, or already is out. It seems like it would be an interesting read(and I’ve had this book on my shelf for some time now!)

At the end of this month, I’m hoping to participate in Deweys 24 hour readathon. I’m going to be getting some graphic img_5160novels from my library for that, but as of right now, I’m not sure which ones. However, I do want to read Saga Vol. 6!

Those are what I’m hoping to get to this month. What are you reading?

I’m not entirely sure what I’ll be reading, but I plan to head to the library in the upcoming days to pick up some graphic novels. Hopefully Saga Vol. 5 will be one of them!!

If you would like to join, head over to sign up. Here are the starting time for this readathon-
