Birthday Book Haul!!!

My birthday was on the ninth of September and of course I got some books! So I thought I’d share them with you! You can click the book title to go to the goodreads page if you’re interested in knowing anything about these books!

Heartstopper Vol 1 and Vol 4 by Alice Oseman

When I first read these books, I borrowed them from the library. I absolutely fell in LOVE with them and knew that I have to have my own copies. So I bought myself volume 1, and my best friend got me volume 4 because they’re amazing!

Blood Promise by Richelle Mead

This is the fourth book in the Vampire Academy series. I plan to do a binge read of this series sometime soon, and this is the only book I didn’t own. I read the first three books awhile ago, but never continued on despite that fact that I enjoyed them. I don’t remember much though, so I definitely need to reread the first three!

Still Beating by Jennifer Hartman

I have never read anything by this author, but I’ve heard nothing but complete rave about this book, so when I saw it on ebook for only $1.99 I knew this was my chance to see what all the hype is about for it. I heard it’s a very dark, but great read. And they recommend checking the trigger warnings beforehand, so that was what I did.

And those are the books I bought/recieved for my birthday! What books have you bought/recieved lately?

Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. This book was free at my thrift store so I definitely had to pick it up! It has been quite some time since I’ve read a vampire book.

You by Caroline Kepnes. I’ve heard really great things about this story, and when I found it for only $1, I couldn’t pass it up.

Turtles All the Way Down by John Green. Of course I had to get his newest book! I’m very excited to get to this!

Murder on tbookcoverhe Orient Express by Agatha Christie. I checked this one out from my library. I wanted to see the movie, but of course had to read the book first.

Passengers by Alexandra Bracken. This is another book that I checked out from my library. I really enjoyed Alexandra Brackens The Darkest Minds trilogy, so I’ve been wanting to read her next story.Interview with the Vampire

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. This is the last book I checked out from the library. Again another one I’m excited to read!

My Reading Mood

So lately I’ve been in the “I-don’t-know-what-is-wrong-with-me-but-I-can’t-get-into-any-book-that-I-pick-up-mood.” It sucks. Every book that I’ve started, I just can’t seem to get into to. It’s not that they’re bad books, it’s just that I’m not in the mood, so I don’t give it my full attention.giphyHave you been in this mood before? What do you do? What books brought you out of it? What books would you recommend for me to read?
