I always find reading challenges to be fun. Mainly because I never put pressure on myself to finish them. If I do finish them, great, and if I don’t then that’s fine. I normally choose a few challenges to do throughout the year for fun. This year I have picked 4 challenges.
- Flights of Fantasy Reading Challenge: I choose this challenge because I don’t read much fantasy. It’s
something that I feel like I’m missing out on. I’m definitely considered a “fantasy newbie” when it comes to this genre. I missed out on a lot of series because this genre always intimidates me.
- 2016 Discussion Challenge: I love talking about books, but I never do discussion
posts, which is disappointing. So I decided that I want to do more of those! If you have any recommendations on topics, let me know! I’m making a list.
- Popsugar’s Ultimate Reading Challenge: This challenge I’m still on the fence about. I’ve been seeing this around, and I think I’m going to try it and just have fun with this one. If I read books
that fit the categories than great, if not, oh well!
- #RockMyTBR Challenge: This one just seems like a lot of fun, and one that I’m excited to participate in!
So those are the challenges that I’m going to attempt and just have fun with. I plan on using books for multiple challenges, and possibly doubling up with the Popsugar Challenge. What reading challenges are you participating in?
I’m doing the Discussion Challenge and Rock My TBR too π

Great post! As of now, I’m only participating in reading 30 books this year (Goodreads) and the Pretty Books Classics Challenge.
